Chewy Brownies

These are the brownies I grew up on. I didn't even know boxed brownies existed until almost college!

1 stick butter room temp
2 c sugar
3-4 choco bake (or squares unsweetened chocolate)
4 eggs
1 heaping c flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
nuts optional

Put in bowl and stir until mixed (try not to over stir). Place in a 9 x 13 pan and bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes.

We like to dust with powdered sugar or frost with mint butter cream frosting.
